Cultivar test comparisons were made between 15 modern transgenic cultivars and 17 obsolete conventional varieties. The tests were grown in 2004 at three locations near Stoneville, MS. The same tests were repeated at two locations in 2005. Yield, earliness, yield components, and fiber traits were determined from all tests. The fiber traits were determined on HVI and AFIS instruments.
