A one-year study was conducted at the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station in Burleson County, Texas, and the Upper Gulf Coast in Wharton County, Texas, to examine the effects of reduced rate harvest aids and the standard rate of harvest aids. This study contained fifteen treatments replicated four times in a randomized complete block design on forty inch row spacing. Parameters examined include cotton lint yield, fiber quality, fiber characteristics, and economic analysis of cost of harvest aid application, harvest aid chemical and picking cost. All data will be subjected to the mixed procedure of SAS v9.0.
