Experiments were conducted in Clayton and Rocky Mount, North Carolina to evaluate the critical period of weed interference on row spacing in Roundup Ready cotton. Row spacings were 15 inch and either 36 inch or 38 inch cotton depending on location. Broadleaf weeds and annual grasses were measured and harvested for dry weights at various time periods throughout the season. Cotton yield and weed number and species were evaluated.
