The use of cotton growth regulators are a common practice on aggressive growing varieties in the Coastal Plain of Georgia and North Carolina. Envoke herbicide use on cotton increased since release in 2004. Field observations of plant growth regulatory activity from Envoke applications has led to interest in the potential dual use as a PGR and herbicide activity. Due to the interest field studies were performed in Georgia and North Carolina during the 2005 growing season.
