Tropical spiderwort continues to be the most troublesome weed in Georgia cotton. Previous research has noted that metolachlor is the most effective herbicide for use in Georgia cotton to manage this specific pest. However, control from the addition of a single application of metolachlor into a glyphosate based cotton weed management program does not provide adequate late-season control. Therefore, glyphosate based management systems including metolachlor applied mutiple times throughout the growing season were implemented and results will be provided.
