Tennessee Findings from a 2005 Precision Farming Survey of Cotton Farmers

James A. Larson, Burton C. English, Roland K. Roberts, and Rebecca L. Cochran. University of Tennessee, 308 Morgan Hall, 2621 Morgan Circle, Knoxville, TN 37996-4518

This poster will present Tennessee results from a 2005 survey of cotton farmers in 11 states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia) designed to evaluate their use of cotton precision farming technologies. It will be one of a series of posters that will present findings for the 11-state region and for each of seven states (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Tennessee). The poster will concentrate mostly on findings from the 2005 survey for Tennessee. Presentation alongside the six posters for the other states and the 11-state aggregate poster will allow direct comparisons of Tennessee results with those for the other states and the 11-state region.
