PREV AM.....new insecticide for cotton insect control

PREV AM is a new biorational contact control pesticide with broad spectrum control of foliar insect and disease organisms. PREV AM received a full EPA registration in July 2003. PREV AM recieved a conditional approval by CDPR. PREV AM has been used commercially in the vegetable markets for 2 years and ORO Agri, Inc expanded PREV AM marketing in to cotton, peanuts, soybeans, potato,trees and many other crops in 2005.

PREV AM kills on contact by physically disrupting the target organism protective membrane and thus rendering the organism susceptable to dessication by the environment. PREV AM is effective on various life stages of cotton pests from eggs, nymphs, larvae to adults, depending on contact coverage and target pest. PREV AM has proven to be an effective and economical product for use in an IPM spray program in combination with systemic, translaminar, IGR, and other contact materials with different modes of action. PREV AM mode of action is likely to not be susceptable to resistnace build up. PREV AM is exempt from tolerance and has a 12 hour REI and PHI.

PREV AM has documented efficacy on mites, aphid, whitefly, lepidoptera, and plant bugs. ORO Agri, Inc and its distributors have had good success using PREV AM in combination with many commercial products such as Agrimek, Comite, Zeal, Courier, Assail, Leverage, Knack, Intruder, and many others.
